Clint, as in Black | Cincinnati Senior Portrait Photographer

Up next on the bloggity… Patty + Clint, her horse.  As in, Black.  I love it.

Patty is a sweet, sweet ray of sunshine.  And goodness.  And butterflies and flowers and rainbows and all of that.  I mean it.  She’s all things good.

I was giddy.  Giddy, I tell you.  I think I squealed when I saw her rockin’ cowboy boots.

I want them.

I must have them.

Patty, if you hear some rustling in your closet some night while you sleep… it’s not me.  It’s NOT.

Isn’t she lovely?

So it’s no secret that I’m a girlie girl.  I like bubblegum lip-gloss and glitter eyeshadow and all of that girlie deliciousness.  And I’m a city girl.  Not like Big Apple, Sex In The City, Manolo Blahnik type of girl.  But I’m not used to country living.  Although I do believe that I would love it.  But that’s beside the point.

I must tell you.  I had a blast at Patty’s house with Clint the horse.  And Humphrey the goat.  Well, Patty said that he didn’t have a name.  So I took it upon myself to name him Humphrey the goat.  Correction.  Humphrey the fainting goat.

Humphrey and his fainting goat brother and fainting goat Mama, they thought it was very bizarre that I was there on their turf.  Humphrey stared and stared and followed and followed me around.  Picture this: I’m low to the ground getting a photo of Patty and dude tries to get in my back pocket.  Patty shooed him away, what do you think happened?  He nearly fainted.  For serious.  He turned and ran away and Patty was all, “Look!  His legs are locking up!”  You all know I was doubled over.  It was hilariously fabulous.

You can call me dumb photo geeky girl, but I thought it was uber cool that I could see myself in the reflection in Clint’s eye.  See?!  It’s me.

Isn’t she dreamy?

Patty, it was so lovely, darling.  You’re just fabulous.  I mean that.

When all else fails, use headlights | Cincinnati Senior Portrait Photographer

Sometimes you’re driving along, and you see a yellow table and chairs on the sidewalk.  And that table and chairs look like they were placed there just for you.

And then sometimes, you say yell “stop the car!  Yellow!  Yellow table.  And chairs.  Right THERE!”

And sometimes you run out of daylight when you still have one million photo ideas in your head.

And sometimes you just turn on the car and shine the headlights on the beautiful girl in front of you.

It was like magic, I tell you.

The Light, The Grass, The Girl | Cincinnati Senior Portrait Photographer

They took my breath away.  The Light.  The Grass.  And The Girl.

The light, oh the light.  It was dreamy.  I’ve died and gone to light heaven, I told myself.  Truly.

The grass, oh the grass.  You’ll see here in a sec just how fabulous it was.  Fab.u.lous.

And the girl?  I have much to say about the her.  She’s the bestest.  Like, of all time, internet.

I’ll save my words about the girl for the next blog post.  There are too many photos for just one blog post.  I’m still narrowing down, after many hours of staring at my computer screen.  I can stare no longer.  But what I can do?  What I can do is show you the amazingness of her.  And the light.  And the grass.

I don’t like to say I told you so, but geeeesh.  I told you so.

Worth The Sneezes Part 2 | Cincinnati Senior Portrait Photographer

She rocked the sunflowers.

We already knew that.

Remember the 47 sneezes and the Zyrtec?  And how worth it I said it was?  Well, it was worth it times TEN.

She said to me, “I’m not photogenic at all.”  Patty dearie, you are beautiful.  And yes.  Very photogenic you are.

I wouldn’t tell a lie.

What do I love more than photographing a fresh and fun senior girl?  Photographing a fresh and fun senior girl + her puppy.  He was very wiggly and so excited to be photographed (not really).  I bribed him with spaghetti and meatballs (not really).  Her Dad stood behind me and whistled so he would look at me (yes, really).

Patty, you are as sweet as you can be.  If I were a betting girl, I would bet that we would have been great friends had I been born 15 years earlier.;)  But we can still be friends.  You can call me old lady, and I’ll call you very pretty photogenic girl.:)  Muaaaah.

Worth the sneezes | Cincinnati Senior Portrait Photographer

She rocked the sunflowers.

It was worth the sneezes.

All 47 of them.

Goodnight y’all.  I’m headed upstairs to find my box of Zyrtec.;)
